As per the post-pandemic situation across the world, countries are implementing measures to keep the COVID-19 pandemic under control.
Young children infected with COVID-19 or other Communicable Diseases may spread the virus as they are still learning personal hygiene habits such as covering their coughs, washing their hands, and respecting others’ personal space. They can transmit COVID-19 to at-risk populations in their vicinity. In this situation, parents/guardians have different standards of hygiene and are not always comfortable availing of childcare facilities.

The organisers voted for the Wapuu that can represent the vision that we have for WCAsia 2023 and welcome the attendees at ICON SIAM together with Tuk-tuk Wapuu selected for WCAsia 2020. And the most voted Wapuu will be WordCamp Asia 2023 mascot.
