As per the post-pandemic situation across the world, countries are implementing measures to keep the COVID-19 pandemic under control.
Young children infected with COVID-19 or other Communicable Diseases may spread the virus as they are still learning personal hygiene habits such as covering their coughs, washing their hands, and respecting others’ personal space. They can transmit COVID-19 to at-risk populations in their vicinity. In this situation, parents/guardians have different standards of hygiene and are not always comfortable availing of childcare facilities.
Keeping all these things in mind, we have decided not to offer any childcare services during WordCamp Asia 2023.
However, if you are planning to bring your kids to WordCamp Asia 2023, there are some good kids’ entertainment and nursing facilities available on the 4th and 5h floor of the venue. You can find more details about these facilities in the following links:
Important Points to Remember:
- We have decided not to offer any childcare services during WordCamp Asia 2023.
- Children who are 12 years old and younger can still come to the conference free of charge if accompanied by an adult with a ticket already purchased in advance. Kindly keep following the tickets page for updates. We are not going to provide any tickets for walk-ins.
- Lunch remains the responsibility of parents.
- The venue has kids-friendly facilities including nursing & changing rooms (4th floor) and Edutainment services (5th floor).
