Support from Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB)

WordCamp Asia 2027 is strongly supported by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia. This support helps us prepare to welcome the global WordPress community to Penang from 9 – 11 April 2027.

Developers, designers, business owners, agencies, contributors, and technology professionals from across Asia and around the world will gather to share knowledge and learn from one another. Together, we’ll contribute to WordPress and keep building the open web together.

Supporting Business Events in Malaysia

Established in 2009, MyCEB helps organisers bid for and host international business events in Malaysia. It works with industry partners, associations, and government agencies to support Malaysia as a destination for meetings, conventions, exhibitions, and incentive travel.

For WordCamp Asia 2027, MyCEB’s support helps us bring an international WordPress gathering to Malaysia.

Bringing the WordPress Community to Penang

WordCamp Asia brings people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds together around WordPress and open source. It gives attendees time to exchange ideas, contribute to the project, and get to know the people behind it.

For some attendees, this will also be their first visit to Malaysia. Time outside the event offers a chance to try Penang’s food, experience its culture, and meet people in the local community. We hope those experiences become part of what they take home.

Asia Meets in Penang

Penang will welcome the global WordPress community for WordCamp Asia 2027 from 9 – 11 April. Alongside the event, attendees can spend time experiencing the island’s heritage and food.

We are grateful to MyCEB for supporting WordCamp Asia 2027 and helping us welcome this international community to Malaysia. We look forward to seeing you in Penang.
