
The first batch of event tickets for WordCamp Asia 2027 is now available. The event will bring the WordPress community to Penang, Malaysia, from 9–11 April 2027, for three days of learning, contribution, and connection. Because this first batch is limited, attendees who plan to join can reserve their place now.

🎓 Meet, learn, and contribute
WordCamp Asia brings together developers, designers, creators, business owners, and open source contributors from across Asia and beyond. The program will include keynotes, workshops, conference sessions, and Contributor Day. Between event activities, attendees can continue conversations over local dishes such as nasi kandar, char kway teow, and Penang laksa.
Penang gives visitors plenty to see outside the venue. George Town is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site, known for its historic architecture and street art. These surroundings offer more ways for attendees to spend time together and experience Malaysian hospitality during their visit.

Contributor Day has limited capacity and requires separate registration. Event ticket holders will receive an email with registration details closer to the event.
