From 9–11 April 2027, WordCamp Asia will bring the WordPress community together at the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre, with developers, designers, creators, business owners, contributors, and community leaders from across Asia and around the world.
But WordCamp Asia is also a chance to experience Penang, from George Town’s UNESCO World Heritage streets and local food to its rich mix of history, culture, creativity, and technology.
We’re looking for media outlets, publishers, content creators, and community voices to help share these experience and the stories of Penang with their audiences.
Why Become a Media Partner?

- Technology and WordPress publications
- Websites and blogs

As a Media Partner, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with the WordPress community and bring your audience closer to the people, ideas, and stories shaping the web.
You can cover WordCamp Asia from your own perspective, whether that means reporting on the event, interviewing speakers and community members, exploring the technology behind WordPress, or telling your audience about the experience of visiting Penang.
