WordCamp Asia 2023 Ticket Release Timeline

As we promised in the cancellation post for WordCamp Asia 2020, we are offering one free 2023 ticket per each ticket purchased for the canceled event. For the record, most of the 2020 tickets were refunded. 

I hope this post will clarify the 2023 ticket release timeline and eligibility.

  1. 25-31 July: Release Reserved Tickets to 2020 purchasers
  2. 8 August: First batch open release
  3. Additional releases

Timeline

1. 25-31 July: Release Reserved Tickets to 2020 purchasers

Reserved tickets will be available early for those who purchased tickets for the 2020 event.

  • We will send 2020 ticket purchasers an email with information to claim a ticket
  • 1 ticket per each previous purchase only
  • You can use a provided coupon OR pay for a ticket
  • Starts at 10:00 AM UTC+7 (Bangkok) on Monday, 25 July
  • Ends at 23:59 PM UTC+7 on Sunday 31 July

We are making this early release to support those who have lost travel costs due to the cancellation. Please only claim this ticket if you are planning to attend the 2023 event. We ask you not to transfer this early release ticket to another attendee.

2. 8 August: First batch open release

Regular (800 THB) and Micro Sponsor (2,000 THB) tickets will be available for purchase at 10:00 UTC+7 on Monday, 8 August.

3. Additional releases

We will be announcing the timing of additional ticket releases based on the sales data and other factors. Please subscribe or keep an eye on our blog, social accounts, and roadmap.
