A month has passed since WordCamp Asia 2023.

In March 2024, WordCamp Asia will be held in Taipei, a city that blends rich cultural traditions with modernity.
We have been notified that an individual present at WordCamp Asia 2023 has tested positive for COVID-19. We understand that this news may be concerning, and we want to provide you with as much information as possible.
We take the health and safety of our attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff very seriously. There is a possibility that you may have come into contact with this individual and may have been exposed to the virus. We encourage everyone to continue to follow the health guidelines in place in their community.
If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, chills, cough, difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, or other symptoms, please consider consulting with your healthcare provider about COVID-19 testing.

The inaugural WordCamp Asia successfully took place in Bangkok from 17 to 19 February 2023.
Writing this blog post fills us with incredible joy, as the journey to reach this point was much more challenging than anticipated. I’m proud of my organising team’s achievements in bringing this large-scale project to fruition, which took nearly four years from the initial application submission to the final execution.
We are thrilled to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from the attendees of WordCamp Asia. They expressed satisfaction with the event’s organisation, content, and overall experience.
We couldn’t have done it without the support and encouragement of the community — our attendees, sponsors, speakers, and volunteers for 2020 and 2023. Your contributions and participation were instrumental in making WordCamp Asia such a success.
