WordCamp Asia is happening in 2023!
How would you like to contribute to WordCamp Asia 2023 with your photography, videography, interview and editing skills?
We are very excited to announce that we are making a call for all levels of the Audio-Visual Crew (Photographers, Videographers, and Interviewers). This role is for you if you like capturing using your cameras and bringing an artistic perspective to the event.

WordCamp Asia is taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, and we need you to offer your skills in photography, filming, editing, and communication to the event. Candid or posed, formal or informal, interview or podcast, anything works as long as you keep the moment alive within the camera. Whether you are a professional or just an enthusiast, this might be the greatest opportunity to develop your abilities or gain exposure.
We also plan to share the excitement of the event via our social media, so we have added the position of Photo and Video Editor role along with photography, videography, and interviewer.

A/V Team Crew at WCAsia 2023 in one of the following roles:
- Photographer
- Photo Editor
- Videographer
- Video Editor
- Interviewer
We know you live for your artistry and that the act of creating empowers and fascinates us all. Working as part of the A/V Team crew at WordCamp Asia 2023 will give you fantastic experience, as well as the opportunity to meet a diverse range of interesting people from around the world while collaborating with fellow crews.
As an photographer/videographer you are free and encouraged to:
- shoot in your own way (free style)
- create clear, high-quality photos and videos
- retouch and post-process your photos and videos
- make your photos and videos available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.
As an interviewer you are free to interview:
- Organizers
- Speakers
- Sponsors
- Attendees
A/V Team crew activities, like all other positions at WordCamp Asia, will be performed on a volunteer basis with no monetary compensation. You will receive a free ticket and an invitation to the before/after WordCamp parties as a thank you for your support.

Remember to provide a link to your online portfolio or gallery in the form. We can only evaluate your application if you offer examples of your work.
