WordCamp Asia is the first flagship WordCamp in Asia. So far, there have been three types of flagship WordCamps: US, Europe, and Centroamérica.
We chose Bangkok to be the first country to host WordCamp Asia because Thailand lies in the centre of Asia. Accessibility from everywhere, attractive landmarks, good foods, and open and friendly people.
- 3-day event from 17-19 February 2023.
- A flat ticket price 800 Baht for 3-day access (NOTE: you will need a free Contributor Day ticket for attending the first day).
- Presentations, sponsors showcases, contributing, and social events.
- Expecting 1,500 attendees coming from all over the world.
- Organised by volunteer members of Asian WordPress communities in 13 countries.

WordCamp Asia 2023 is a 3-day event in February 2023. All time below is UTC+7.
- Day 1 (Friday, 17 February 2023) – Contributor day
- 9:00 AM – Contributor day registration opens
- 5:00 PM – Contributor day closes
- 6:30 PM – Welcome dinner door opens (only for staff/speakers/sponsors)
- 7:00 PM – Welcome dinner starts
- 9:00 PM – Welcome dinner ends
- 9:30 PM – Welcome dinner closes all area
- Day 2 (Saturday, 18 February 2023) – Conference day 1
- 8:30 AM – Venue door opens
- 5:40 PM – Day 2 ends
- Day 3 (Sunday, 19 February 2023) – Conference day 2 & After-party
- 8:30 AM – Venue door opens
- 5:00 PM – Day 3 ends
- 6:30 PM – After-party door opens
- 7:00 PM – After-party starts
- 11:00 PM – After-party ends
- 12:00 AM – After-party closes all area
Location
WordCamp Asia 2023 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, at the TRUEICON HALL (details).
The after-party on Sunday night will be at Lhong 1919.

Since 2006, WordPress community members have held a total of 1,100+ WordCamps in 375+ cities, 65 countries, and 6 continents.

What is the Contributor Day?
You do not need to be a programmer or designer to know anything concerning WordPress to participate in Contributor Day. A great way to learn about the project and give to it is to participate by contribution.
