Thailand Entry Requirements (updated 9 January 2023)
The Thai government reversed the vaccination requirements order that was published a few days ago. As of today, there are no known restrictions to entering Thailand. Please check your airline requirements for proof of vaccination, health insurance, masking, etc.
What’s The Current Situation In Thailand?
While the current situation in Thailand is relatively stable, with low numbers of active cases and widespread vaccination efforts underway, we still recommend that attendees take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others, including checking with your airlines for any rules and regulations regarding vaccination, PCR testing, and other measures that may be required for travel.
Will WordCamp Asia 2023 be safe?
We want to assure you that the WordCamp Asia organising team is taking all necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all attendees.
While it is not required for attendees to wear face masks at the event, we do encourage everyone to follow the guidelines set by the Thai government and use their best judgement to keep themselves and others safe.

Q. Do I need to wear a facemask in the event venue?
A: Face masks are not mandatory but are highly recommended. If you see someone wearing a sticker requesting people wear a mask near them, please wear it before you approach them or keep your distance.
Q. Do all attendees need to be fully vaccinated to attend the event?
A. As per the latest announcement from the WordPress Community Team, attendees (including organisers, sponsors, and volunteers) of official WordPress events are no longer required to be vaccinated or tested negative. However, one of those actions is highly recommended. Please also note the requirements for entering Thailand may change again in the coming weeks.
Q. Do Thai citizens need to show the test/vaccination proof at the venue?
A. WordCamp Asia team is not planning to check attendees’ vaccination status to enter the venue. However, we will keep you informed if any local authority orders us to do so.
