For your presentation, we will be using the laptop provided by our vendor. This is due to making sure that all slides show up on the screen and have speaker notes on the return monitor that each room has. So if you have a speaker note, please make sure they are added to your slides.
But if your slide contains certain fonts or you need to use your laptop for demo purposes, please let us know beforehand. In order to make this happen, we need to do the tech rehearsals with you on March 7th. /head

Presentation Template & Slide Submission
All speakers are required to submit their final presentation slides before the event for a final check by the team. We find that adding the presentations before the event helps to drive interest in attending the session. The final deadline for presentations is February 8th.
When creating your slides, these are some helpful informations you can reference:
Templates
We encourage all the speakers to explore their creative minds to create wonderful slides as you can, but we understand there are times when a template comes in handy. Our team is considering offering a template that everybody can use.
The information will be shared in the email and Slack Workspace in January.
Although we may provide a template, we do encourage and ask the speakers to explore with their slides.
Slide Submission
To submit your slides, you have these choices:
- Send an email to asia-speakers@wordcamp.org
- Contact the program team via the Slack Workspace
Promote Your Session
It would be lovely if you could promote your session. We are planning to create an individual opening slide image that one can use. The same image will be used in the session detail page also. We will inform the speakers once the image asset is ready.
Code of Conduct
Please read the Code of Conduct. It is strictly enforced and we ask the speakers to review them and follow them. We would also like to ask the speakers to be careful and to be inclusive in the words and images you use during your presentations.
