WordCamp Asia is the first flagship WordCamp in Asia. So far, there have been only two types of flagship WordCamps: US and Europe.
We chose Bangkok to be the first country to host the WordCamp Asia because Thailand lies in the centre of Asia. Accessibility from everywhere, attractive landmarks, good foods, and open and friendly people.
- 3-day event in February 2020.
- A flat ticket price $26 for 3-day access (NOTE: you will need a free Contributor Day ticket for attending the first day)
- Presentations, consulting, sponsors showcases, contributing, and social events.
- Expecting 1,450 attendees coming from Asia, Europe, USA, and other areas.
- Organised by volunteer members of Asian WordPress communities in 17 countries.

- Day 2 (Saturday, February 22) – Conferences day 1
- Day 3 (Sunday, February 23) – Conferences day 2 & Afterparty

What are WordCamps?
WordCamps are volunteer-organized conferences covering everything related to, the free and OpenSource personal publishing software that powers over one-third of the web.
Since 2006, WordPress community members have held a total of 1,080 WordCamps in 76 cities, 65 countries, and 6 continents.
What is Contributor Day?
You do not need to be a programmer or designer to yet to know anything concerning WordPress to participate in Contributor Day. A great way to learn about the project and give to it is to participate by contribution.

As the first-ever flagship WordCamp Asia 2020, it is our goal and mission to help usher in the next generation of WordPress builders and we’re going to do that through KidsCamp on February 21, 2020.
