Hi @losoviz! The speaker selection was done by a set of criteria which also includes anonymous voting. We might publish the selection process after all round of announcements completed. Thank you.
Agreed. It’s a bit disappointing to see a lack of Asian and Asia-based speakers thus far. My understanding was that this event would be not only to highlight WordPress in Asia but bring the regional community together. I’m not sure how these first rounds accomplish that goal and give voice and power to our region.
