WordPress 7.0 was originally planned for release on Contributor Day at WordCamp Asia 2026 in Mumbai. <\/strong>However, the release has been slightly postponed<\/strong> to give the team additional time to fine-tune advanced features like real-time collaboration and to ensure the release meets high standards of stability and quality.
