This is a fully funded opportunity for women in India and Nepal to attend WordCamp Asia 2026 in Mumbai (April 9\u201311).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What the Scholarship Covers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each recipient will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <strong>free WordCamp Asia 2026 ticket<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reimbursement support<\/strong> for travel and accommodation for the duration of the conference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No out-of-pocket costs. You just show up and participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who Should Apply<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This scholarship is open to women from India and Nepal who are passionate about WordPress, open source, or web development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We will prioritise folks who have not ever attended a flagship WordCamp (WordCamp Asia\/ US\/ EU) previously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WordCamp Asia is a great way to start your WordPress journey. It can be career-defining. If you&#8217;ve been curious but never had the opportunity, this scholarship is for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-0aa01211 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-50\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/wcasia.survey.fm\/wordcamp-asia-2026-zeel-thakkar-memorial-scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apply here<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crowdfund to Help Us Make This Happen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This scholarship is entirely local community-backed. Every rupee raised goes directly to travel, accommodation, and passes for the recipients, nothing else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;ve benefited from the WordPress community or simply believe in what Zeel stood for, we would love your support.
