If you have videos from past events, feel free to share them. Don\u2019t have one? No worries! You can record a short video (5-10 minutes) introducing your topic and upload it to a secure location, then share the link in the speaker form.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-many-talks-can-you-submit\">How many talks can you submit?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can submit up to<strong> two proposals.<\/strong>&nbsp; If more than two are submitted, only the most recent two will be considered. If you are selected as a speaker, we will give you a complimentary event pass to attend the event. You can ask for a refund for your purchased event pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"are-you-open-to-being-a-backup-speaker\">Are you open to being a backup speaker?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, we may need to activate a backup speaker due to incidents out of our control. Just in case, please let us know if you are willing to be selected as a backup speaker.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But not to worry, opting in for a Backup Speaker doesn\u2019t necessarily mean you won\u2019t be selected as a main speaker. It just makes the program team easier to know the applicants who were open for the backup speaker, just in case they are not selected as the main speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"embracing-diversity\">Embracing Diversity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WordCamp Asia brings together voices from all over the world. We actively welcome submissions from underrepresented communities, new speakers, and those with diverse experiences and perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The WordPress Diverse Speaker Training group has been working since 2017 to develop a 60-minute <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.wordpress.org\/lesson-plan\/speaker-training-workshop\/\">workshop<\/a>.
