WordCamp Creator Studio, Sponsored by WordPress.com: Available for Sign Ups Now!
For the first time, WordCamp Asia is offering a bookable recording studio in Mumbai, sponsored by Automattic. We welcome creators, influencers, podcasters, and anyone interested in recording content to utilize our customizable recording studio on-site through a bookable link. The Creator Studio is available to book on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, from 9 am-4 pm only.
The Purpose
WordPress is powered by the people – this space is designed to give attendees the tools and opportunity to share their voices and shape how the world experiences WordCamp. It’s part content creation, part connection, and all community.
Use the space to:
- Host a short podcast interview with a speaker or attendee.
- Record your reflections, insights, or favorite sessions.
- Collaborate with fellow attendees on a quick piece of creative content on your channels.
We want to help amplify the voices of the people who power WordPress — the makers, thinkers, and storytellers who bring it to life every day!
How It Works
- Complete this intake form to indicate your interest. We have limited availability / all slots are on a first come, first serve basis. Only registered attendees of WordCamp Asia will be able to book the Creator Studio. Please make sure to secure your event pass if you haven’t already done so.
- Available slots are Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11, from 9am-4pm only.
- This room will be closed to all other attendees during your recording time.
- Sessions are 60 minutes maximum, with 30 minutes of setup time beforehand.
- Only one session per creator/group to ensure fairness.
- A volunteer and Audio Visual tech will be present to manage the room and keep time.
- We provide basic Audio Visual equipment; you’re also welcome to bring your own.
- We will have the following equipment available for your use.

- (1) Sony Z190 4K Camera – Pro-level HD video camera with crisp resolution.
- (1) Tripod – Stable, smooth support for clean camera shots.
- Shogun Classic Recorder – Captures your recording to a portable drive.
Audio
- Shure ULXD4D Wireless Mic System – Broadcast-quality wireless microphones.
- Sennheiser 416 Boom Mic – Ideal for clean voice capture
- Audio Mixer – For managing mic levels and audio inputs.
