e-Arrival Card – Mandatory for All Foreign Nationals
⚠️ Required before you land in India. All foreign nationals entering India must complete the e-Arrival Card online. This must be done within 72 hours before your arrival. We suggest not leaving this until the last minute.
How to Register?
Visit the e-Arrival Card website and complete your form. The form is free and takes approximately 5 minutes.
- Visit the official portal: indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival.
- Complete the form within 72 hours before your flight lands in India.
- Save a screenshot or download the confirmation, as you may be asked to present it at immigration.
- Keep it accessible offline on your phone in PDF format or an image at the airport.
Who Needs to Register?
- All foreign nationals entering India, regardless of nationality.
- This applies to tourists, business travelers, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers.
- Indian nationals do not need to complete this form.
Tip: Set a calendar reminder to fill this in 72 hours before your arrival time. If you have a layover, your arrival time is when you land in India, not when you depart from your home country.
Getting to JWCC – Travel and Accommodation
The Venue
Jio World Convention Centre is located in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai’s central business district. BKC is well-connected by road, metro, and auto-rickshaw and is one of the most accessible parts of the city for visitors.
- By metro: Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) station on Metro Line 3 Aqua Line is a short walk from the Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC) Gate 18.
- By road: Approximately 30 – 45 minutes from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSIA), depending on traffic. App-based cabs (Uber, Ola) are widely available.
- By auto-rickshaw: Available within Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for short distances.

Event Shuttle
- We are offering a complimentary WordCamp Asia Event Shuttle. This will help serve our attendees who are staying at both our official event hotels, the Trident & Sofitel, during the event, and also to/from the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) Metro station.
- Shuttles will depart/return to both hotels, (BKC) Metro station, and the Jio Convention Centre during WordCamp hours only from Contributor Day through the Closing Party.
- Please remember to wear your event badge to allow you to access this service.

Check-in and Badges
- Visit the Registration/Information Desk on arrival, located on the 3rd floor outside the Lotus Ballroom.
- Registration will be open daily from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
- Sponsor Hall Hours: April 10, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM & April 11, 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Show your digital confirmation email and collect your event badge.
- Keep your badge ready and on you, so entry to different spaces is smooth.
- Please ensure you bring your government identification to registration.
Security and General Conduct
- Bags and personal belongings will be inspected upon entry.
- First aid stations will be available throughout the venue.
- Emergency exits are clearly marked.
- Maintain professional and respectful behavior at all times.
- Follow the general Code of Conduct.
- Help keep the venue clean by using designated bins and treating the space with care.
- Report lost items to the Information/Registration Desk.
Meal Tickets for Food
- You will receive a meal ticket for lunch for all 3 days at registration and will need the pass to receive your lunch, so please make sure you hold onto these meal tickets.
- You will get a full lunch and light breakfast snacks, so please plan accordingly.

Come Prepared for Mumbai Weather
April is summer in Mumbai, so expect warm and humid conditions.
- Temperature: 33- 36°C (91- 97°F) during the day.
- Humidity: High-breathable fabrics make a real difference.
- Indoors: JWCC is air-conditioned — bring a light layer for long sessions inside.

Everything you need to do before the event:
- Get your Event Pass: Passes are mandatory for all attendees. Register now.
- e-Arrival Card: Complete the e-Arrival Card (foreign nationals only) within 72 hours of landing in India. Online form.
- Register for Contributor Day: Contributor Day requires a separate registration. All pass holders are eligible—please register here.
- Book Accommodation Early: Check for official partner hotels.
- Update Your Gravatar Profile: Your badge QR links to your Gravatar profile. Add a photo, bio, and contact details before the event. Update at Gravatar.com.
- If bringing a child (ages 8–15), register for YouthCamp. Seats are limited, and parent/ guardian consent is mandatory.
- Plan Your Experience: Browse the session schedule and plan your three days across different sessions, workshops, and events. View the schedule.
- UPI One World: International attendees, you can set up your UPI One World wallet at the airport on arrival. Bring a passport and a visa for KYC. More information.
- Pack for Mumbai in April: Light clothing, comfortable shoes, a reusable water bottle, and a compact umbrella.
- At the venue: Collect your event ID badge at the registration desk. Wear it at all times. Digital confirmation email required for entry.
- Get your meal tickets: You will receive a meal ticket for all days at registration and will need the ticket to receive your lunch, so please make sure to keep them safe. We will offer a full lunch and light breakfast snacks each day.
