Side Events

Want to make the most of your WordCamp Asia 2026 experience in Mumbai? The main conference is powerful. The side events are where the magic multiplies.

We are curating a high-energy lineup of WordCamp Asia 2026 side events designed to help you connect, explore, and unwind with purpose.

Why You Should Not Skip the Side Events

Because networking does not always happen inside conference halls.

Because business collaborations often begin over coffee.

Because Mumbai deserves to be experienced, not just visited.

What Are WordCamp Side Events?

WordCamp Side Events are independent, community-led activities that happen alongside the main WordCamp conference. They are not part of the official schedule. Instead, they are organised by community members, sponsors, companies, and local volunteers who want to create extra value for attendees.

Think of them as the after-hours brain fuel of WordCamp.

Since the very first WordCamp Asia in 2023 in Bangkok, side events have become a powerful tradition. They have sparked collaborations, created friendships across countries, and opened doors to real business opportunities. We are continuing that momentum at WordCamp Asia 2026.

If you believe community grows through conversation and connection, this is your moment.

We are now accepting applications for WordCamp Asia 2026 Side Events from:

  • WordPress community groups
  • Companies and product teams
  • Agencies and freelancers
  • Local and international organisations

Planning a meetup, networking session, product showcase, community gathering, or experiential event around WordCamp Asia 2026 in Mumbai? This is your opportunity to plug into the larger WordPress ecosystem and create meaningful impact beyond the main conference.

Once approved, your side event will be listed on this page as soon as it is confirmed. We recommend bookmarking this page and checking back regularly for updates, new additions, and key announcements.

Spots are limited and demand is high. If you want strong visibility, meaningful engagement, and strategic positioning within the global WordPress community, apply early and lock in your place.

Important Guidelines for Organising WordCamp Asia Side Events

Before you submit your proposal, please review the following expectations carefully. These guidelines protect attendees, organisers, and the larger WordPress community.

1. Accountability

The side event organiser is fully responsible for:

  • Event content and format
  • Venue arrangements and logistics
  • Attendee safety and overall experience
  • Compliance with the WordPress Code of Conduct

We strongly recommend reviewing the Contributor Covenant to ensure your event aligns with inclusive and respectful community standards. WordCamp Asia is built on trust and shared values. Your event should reflect the same level of professionalism and responsibility.

2. No Conflict with the Official Schedule

Side events must not overlap with official WordCamp Asia 2026 sessions.

The goal is to complement the conference, not compete with it. Please review the published schedule before finalising your timing. Strategic planning ensures maximum participation and a better experience for everyone.
