What Are Contributing Sessions?

Contributing sessions are the working parts of Contributor Day where you roll up your sleeves and help improve WordPress, together with other attendees.

You will join a team table or a guided workshop, get a quick welcome and direction from a table lead or mentor, then choose a task that fits your comfort level. Some people jump into code, others help in non-technical ways, like improving documentation, translating, testing features and reporting bugs, checking accessibility, giving design feedback, creating training materials, supporting users, or helping with community work.

By the end of a session, you should have made at least one meaningful contribution, learned how that team works, and have a clear next step if you want to keep contributing after the event.
