Junko Nukaga lives on a small island in Japan called Ogijima. She works as a freelance web designer and is the director of a non-profit library.
She has been part of the organizing teams of WordCamps, Meetups, and do_action events in Japan, and has also led diversity speaker training initiatives.
She currently contributes to the WordPress project as a Japanese Team Locale Manager and General Translation Editor, as well as a Global Community Program Manager.
