Contributor Day is an important part of WordCamp Asia, where people come together to learn, collaborate, and contribute back to WordPress.
At WordCamp Asia 2026, alongside the conventional Contributor Day experience, we are introducing a set of focused, hands-on workshops designed to support attendees who are new to WordPress or not yet ready to jump into contribution.
These workshops are not a replacement for Contributor Day. Instead, they provide a more guided and welcoming starting point. Participants can build confidence, learn by doing, and better understand how to get involved.
What to Expect?
The workshops will run alongside the usual Contributor Day activities and are designed to be interactive, practical, and beginner-friendly.
Each session follows a hands-on approach. Participants will be able to follow along, experiment, and ask questions throughout the workshop.
These workshops are open to anyone who feels they can benefit from them, whether you are completely new to WordPress or looking to strengthen your fundamentals.
Seating is limited and will be filled as participants arrive. We recommend coming early to secure your spot.
Since these are hands-on sessions, attendees are encouraged to come prepared with their laptops, chargers, power adapters, and any required accessories. Make sure your laptop is fully charged before the session to get the most out of the experience.
You’ll also need to register for Contributor Day in advance.
