“WordPress turned my passion into purpose through community, contribution, and photography.”
My WordPress Journey
I first came across WordPress in 2007. While working on my very first WordPress project, I never imagined that this software would change my life forever. The real turning point in my WordPress journey came in 2012, when I attended my first WordCamp in Mumbai.
After that, I began contributing to WordPress, starting with the Support team. Inspired by the community and the energy of multiple WordCamps, I joined Nebu John and Nithin K R in 2014 to start the WordPress Kerala Community. Since then, we have organised several WordCamps, WordPress Next Generation events such as YouthCamps and Photos Festival, and many local meetups.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of attending numerous WordCamps, including flagship events, in various roles: organiser, volunteer, speaker, and mentor. I also had the opportunity to participate in the WordPress Community Summit in 2017 and 2023. Taking part in Contributor Days, both offline and online, has helped shape my growth as a WordPress contributor.
Today, I serve as a WordPress Photos Team Representative, WordCamp Asia 2026 organiser (leading the AX team), WordPress Kerala Community organiser, and Malayalam Locale Manager. Photography is my passion, and I have contributed more than 3,000 photos to the WordPress Photo Directory.
