You can make it happen in your city!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hosting WordCamp Asia is an incredible opportunity to bring the global WordPress community together to connect, contribute, and celebrate\u2014all while sharing everything that makes your city exciting and unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building WordCamp Asia Together<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>WordCamp Asia is powered by a <a href=\"https:\/\/asia.wordcamp.org\/2025\/organizers\/\">passionate team of volunteers<\/a> working together to create an unforgettable experience. Each event is a collaboration between the <strong>local team<\/strong>, bringing knowledge and enthusiasm from the host city, and the <strong>global team<\/strong>, experienced organizers from across Asia handling key areas like speakers and sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For over eight months, these teams come together as one strong, supportive family, united by a shared passion and love for what we do. This collaboration reflects the best of our community spirit and is guided by our shared vision and values:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Communication<\/strong>: Clear and open communication that respects each organizer, that enables us to address questions and challenges together. We welcome over-communications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impact<\/strong>: By fostering the long-term impact of WordPress in the APAC region that transcends boundaries, we aim to create a positive impact on individuals and communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trust<\/strong>: Trusting each other\u2019s expertise, believing in each other\u2019s integrity, and earning trust by honoring commitments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kindness<\/strong>: Act with kindness \u2013 apply that throughout your thought process, planning, and communications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accountability<\/strong>: Taking personal ownership and driving impactful outcomes through proactive communication and self-motivated action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, these principles help us build not just a great event, but a stronger, more connected, and sustainable WordPress community across Asia and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Can Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Local communities that meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Active Local Community<\/strong>: Your city regularly hosts WordCamps, Meetups or similar events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>WordCamp Experience<\/strong>: Your team has successfully hosted one or more WordCamps in the past 4 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Strong Local Team<\/strong>: At least 8 active organizers who are ready to collaborate and contribute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Venue Options<\/strong>: Your city has a venue that can host 1,500 attendees with additional space for workshops, tracks, and support functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For your reference, at WordCamp Asia 2024, the plenary hall has a capacity of at least 1,500. There are 3 track rooms with capacities ranging from 150 to 400 attendees, workshops with a capacity of 50, and 8 functional rooms, including a family room, volunteer room, quiet room, green room, and more. Additionally, the sponsor area spans more than 1,000 m\u00b2, offering plenty of space for networking and sponsor showcases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is your chance to bring the WordPress community together. We can\u2019t wait to see where WordCamp Asia 2026 will take us next! The next host city will be revealed during the closing remarks of WordCamp Asia 2025, so make sure to stay until the end!
