Hong Phuc Dang

Hong Phuc Dang is the founder of FOSSASIA, an organization dedicated to driving the adoption and development of open source technologies. She collaborates with developers across Asia to strengthen open source ecosystems and has chaired the annual FOSSASIA Summit, Asia’s leading open source event, since 2009.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Hong has served on the boards of OSI, the Open Source Business Alliance, and IEEE Open Source. In recent years, her work has centered on scaling open source hardware production, bringing community-driven projects from concept to market.
