Mumtahina, a tech enthusiast with a diverse skillset. Hailing from Bangladesh with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from RUET, she currently works as a marketing executive at WPDeveloper. While her professional life involves exploring the vast world of marketing, her true passion lies with WordPress.

A Deep Dive into the WordPress Community: 

Her journey began with translations and attending Make WordPress weekly meetings. This involvement blossomed into core contributions for WordPress versions 6.2, 6.4, and 6.5. Additionally, she served as Doc Team Lead for version 6.7. Volunteering has also been a key part of her experience, with roles at WordCamp Asia 2023, WordCamp Sylhet 2023, WordCamp Europe 2023, and WordCamp Kolkata 2022. She even took the stage as a speaker at WordCamp Sylhet 2024!

From Volunteer to Organizer: Capturing WordCamp Asia

This year, Mumtahina takes a giant leap forward by joining the WordCamp Asia 2025 organizing team. This isn’t her first WordCamp Asia experience – she served as part of the A/V crew in 2023. As part of the A/V team, she’s responsible for capturing the event’s magic through photos and videos, while collaborating with the Communication team to share these resources. Mumtahina is excited to leverage her event management experience to make a positive impact on the event. This international opportunity will undoubtedly provide invaluable learning experiences for future endeavors.
