Empowering the WordPress Community at WordCamp Asia 2025
Pooja Derashri, Co-Founder of WPVibes, has been an active WordPress contributor since 2013. With a passion for community building, she has contributed to various teams like Community, Test, Training, Polyglots, WPTV, and Photos, and is a co-organizer of the Ajmer WordPress Meetup group. Pooja has served as a Team Rep for WP Training and Test Teams, and was part of the Speakers Team for WordCamp Asia 2023. As an organizer for WordCamp Asia 2025, she plays a key role in the Sponsors Team, managing sponsor relationships and ensuring smooth event logistics. Her goal is to foster collaboration, encourage innovation, and create an inclusive space where WordPress enthusiasts can learn and grow together.
Anand Upadhyay
Cultivating Connections Through WordPress
Anand Upadhyay, founder of WPVibes, has been a passionate member of the WordPress community since 2010. As an active contributor to Core, Community, Docs, and Polyglots, he began his journey at WordCamp Ahmedabad 2017 and has never looked back. Now part of the Attendee Experience (AX) team for WordCamp Asia 2025, Anand is dedicated to making the event inclusive and unforgettable, from accessibility to vibrant social events. A strong advocate for learning and collaboration, he views organizing as an opportunity to grow, connect, and give back to the WordPress community. Outside of WordPress, Anand enjoys gardening and nurturing the plants in his backyard.
Arvin Pedregosa
Building Community, One WordCamp at a Time
Arvin Pedregosa is a Tech Consultant for SMEs and startups, deeply involved in the WordPress community as a speaker, mentor, and organizer. Now a first-time organizer for WordCamp Asia 2025, he’s taking on the exciting challenge of handling event swag and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees. Passionate about open-source and community building, Arvin believes this event is a fantastic opportunity for Filipinos to engage with the global WordPress ecosystem. When he’s not working, he’s an adventurer at heart—cycling, hiking, and currently preparing to climb Mt. Yushan in Taiwan at the peak of winter!
