Q: What are the benefits of being an emcee at WordCamp Asia 2025?
As an emcee, you will have the opportunity to network with hundreds of members of the WordPress community, learn from leading experts in the field, and make a real difference in the success of the event. You will also receive a complimentary ticket to attend WordCamp Asia 2025.
Q: Do I need to have experience as an emcee to apply?
Experience is not required, but it is a plus. We are looking for individuals with a strong stage presence and the ability to connect with an audience.
Q: Should you buy a ticket?
You can purchase a ticket when ticket sales open. If you are selected as an emcee, we will give you a complimentary ticket that is non-transferable to attend the event. You can then transfer your purchased ticket to someone else.
Q: What will the selection process be like?
We will review all applications fairly and select a team of emcees based on the needs of the program schedule and target audience. We will also consider the diversity of the applicant pool when making our selections.
Q: When will I be notified if I have been selected?
We will notify selected emcees by the end of October / starting of November 2024.
