Jagir Bahesh, a full-time freelancer from Ahmedabad, India, has over a decade of experience in web and WordPress development. His journey began in 2016 when he developed his first plugin and quickly became involved with the WordPress Ahmedabad community. As an organizer for WordCamp Ahmedabad and WordCamp Asia, Jagir has contributed to several key WordCamp events, including WordCamp Ahmedabad 2023 and WordCamp Asia 2023. His passion for the WordPress ecosystem shines through his extensive involvement in local meetups and larger community-driven events.

Shaping WordCamp Asia 2025

Jagir serves as an organizer for WordCamp Asia 2025, specifically focusing on the Contributor Day team. This team’s mission is to welcome new contributors, encourage participation, and inspire a sense of commitment to the open-source community. Jagir is deeply committed to making WordCamp Asia a platform where individuals can collaborate, share knowledge, and grow the WordPress community in Asia. For him, being part of WordCamp Asia is an opportunity to contribute on a larger scale and continue giving back to a community that has given him so much over the years.
