WordCamp Asia has brought the WordPress community to Bangkok,Thailand and Taipei, Taiwan. Next, we’re heading to Manila, Philippines. You can make it happen in your city!
Hosting WordCamp Asia is an incredible opportunity to bring the global WordPress community together to connect, contribute, and celebrate—all while sharing everything that makes your city exciting and unique.
Building WordCamp Asia Together
WordCamp Asia is powered by a passionate team of volunteers working together to create an unforgettable experience. Each event is a collaboration between the local team, bringing knowledge and enthusiasm from the host city, and the global team, experienced organizers from across Asia handling key areas like speakers and sponsors.
For over eight months, these teams come together as one strong, supportive family, united by a shared passion and love for what we do. This collaboration reflects the best of our community spirit and is guided by our shared vision and values:
- Communication: Clear and open communication that respects each organizer, that enables us to address questions and challenges together. We welcome over-communications.
- Impact: By fostering the long-term impact of WordPress in the APAC region that transcends boundaries, we aim to create a positive impact on individuals and communities.
- Trust: Trusting each other’s expertise, believing in each other’s integrity, and earning trust by honoring commitments.
- Kindness: Act with kindness – apply that throughout your thought process, planning, and communications.
- Accountability: Taking personal ownership and driving impactful outcomes through proactive communication and self-motivated action.
Together, these principles help us build not just a great event, but a stronger, more connected, and sustainable WordPress community across Asia and beyond.
