Arvin Pedregosa is a Tech Consultant for SMEs and startups, using technology to help businesses grow and solve challenges. His journey with WordPress began when he needed to build a website for a local project. What started as a simple tool quickly became a gateway to a thriving community. Over the years, he has contributed by speaking at local meetups, organizing events, and mentoring newcomers. A family man at heart, Arvin enjoys working from home, allowing him to spend more time with his wife and two children—his energetic pre-teen son and his daughter with special needs.

Making WordCamp Asia 2025 Unforgettable

This is Arvin’s first time organizing WordCamp Asia, and he’s thrilled to be part of such a large-scale event. While he’s officially part of the Venue Team, most of his time is spent working on event swag—handling pre-production, coordinating with vendors, logistics, and quality control. He also works closely with sponsors, ensuring that swag shipments from abroad arrive smoothly. His goal is to create an event that attendees will remember, filled with thoughtful details that enhance the experience for everyone.

Passion for Community and Adventure

For Arvin, joining WordCamp Asia was a no-brainer—when a fellow organizer asked him to be part of the team, he immediately said yes. He sees the event as a great opportunity for Filipinos to experience an international conference at an affordable price while showcasing the incredible talent and diversity in Asia. Beyond WordPress, Arvin loves cycling, hiking, and exploring new places, always on the lookout for scenic views and delicious local food. Right now, he’s off to Taiwan to climb Mt. Yushan in the middle of winter—a testament to his adventurous spirit!
