As we countdown to WordCamp Asia 2024, each week we\u2019re inviting you to go behind the lineup and get to know the folks who will be taking to the stage. In today\u2019s post, we chat with MinUk Kim<\/a>, a member of the TeamH4C hacking team based in Korea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. Firstly, welcome to the lineup! We\u2019re so glad to have you here. Can you start by telling us a bit about yourself? Where will you be joining the event from, and what does your day-to-day look like?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Hello! My name is Minwook Kim, and I am a white hacker in Korea. My nickname is me2nuk. My main field of study is web hacking, and I am interested in developing various vulnerability scanning tools as well as hacking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. We\u2019re lucky to be welcoming a diverse range of speakers to our program in 2024. What interested you to apply to WordCamp Asia as a speaker? <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I saw a lot of developer mistakes in the WordPress plugins vulnerabilities that I discovered while creating vulnerability scanning tools. I want to tell developers how to prevent vulnerabilities if they pay a little more attention, so I applied as a speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. What can audiences expect to learn from your talk\/s? Are there any advance sneak peeks or knowledge bombs you can offer us?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You can see the prevention of vulnerabilities and what different developers are making mistakes. If it’s a knowledge bomb, I think the process of finding vulnerabilities will be a little complicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. What are you most looking forward to at WordCamp Asia 2024? Is there someone you\u2019re looking forward to rubbing shoulder with, or a local delicacy you\u2019d like to sample?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I am not good at English, so I don’t know if I can go well with it. \ud83d\ude05 I just hope that I can meet various people and return to Korea safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
