As we countdown to WordCamp Asia 2024, each week we\u2019re inviting you to go behind the lineup and get to know the folks who will be taking to the stage. In today\u2019s post, we chat with Maestro Stevens<\/a>, the founder of The Iconic Expressions creative agency and a highly skilled brand webmaster known for his innovative WordPress templates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. Firstly, welcome to the lineup! We\u2019re so glad to have you here. Can you start by telling us a bit about yourself? Where will you be joining the event from, and what does your day-to-day look like?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I’m a brand webmaster, international speaker and founder of a new startup called Iconic Templates\u2122. I’ll be coming from Akron, Ohio home of LeBron James. During a typical day i’m managing company staff, learning new strategies and trends, and engaging in new business opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. We\u2019re lucky to be welcoming a diverse range of speakers to our program in 2024. What interested you to apply to WordCamp Asia as a speaker? <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I like teaching on topics that I’ve mastered or I’m still experimenting with. WordCamps are typically a great way to teach and learn from the audience at the same time. I also like to travel and haven’t seen Asia yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. What can audiences expect to learn from your talk\/s? Are there any advance sneak peeks or knowledge bombs you can offer us?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Attendees and viewers can expect a different perspective on accessbility and inclusivity in the WordPress ecosystem specifically tied to BIPOC communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. What are you most looking forward to at WordCamp Asia 2024? Is there someone you\u2019re looking forward to rubbing shoulder with, or a local delicacy you\u2019d like to sample? <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I’m excited to explore Taipei and enjoy the people, food and sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. Tell us something about yourself that we might not know. Party tricks? Secret hobbies?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I like to dance, create music and listen to High-Res music as a private hobby. In another life I was a world-renowned chef but in this life i’m a very good cook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
